Enjoy the companionship of friendly peers and the convenience and privacy of your own home at Northaven. Established in 1972, Northaven is a non-profit, independently owned community designed especially to meet the needs of people older in age, but young in spirit. Our staff is dedicated to instilling a healthy, vital atmosphere for our residents. And our residents, through their care and talents, make Northaven a vibrant home. Northaven is just a short walk from Northgate Mall, the Northgate Community Center and public library. Sometimes referred to as an oasis in our city – Northaven is a welcoming community that offers affordable rates for older adults (62+) who desire to live independently, and for those who need assistance day-to-day.
On October 28, 2009, Northgate Chamber of Commerce awarded Northaven the Business Excellence Award. Northaven received the award for the not-for-profit category in recognition of solid business practices, active and effective boards, and demonstrated service to the community.
