HOW YOU CAN HELP
The driving force behind Northaven is the vision for a place where older adults, regardless of their financial resources, have a home and quality of care that brings hope and dignity to their lives.

For more than 40 years, despite economic downturns and Medicaid cuts, Northaven has upheld our mission, to provide affordable housing and compassionate care to improve the quality of life for older adults.

Today we face unprecedented challenges – less government funding, greater need, and a future that promises needs beyond our current ability to meet.

That’s why we need you. If you have a heart to offer encouragement to people older in age by helping to ensure affordable housing, care for those who are vulnerable, and provision of services in a manner that upholds esteem and worth, join us by giving to the Northaven Foundation.

Can you help and respond to a real-time need?
In response to Seattle’s growing population of older adults, the Northaven Foundation’s Board of Directors seeks donor support to help meet needs for:
  • Affordable housing
  • Subsidized rent for those who live independently, but have outlived their financial resources
  • Subsidize rent for the increasing number of older adults who require assisted living care and who rely on Medicaid-COPES.
  • Critical services for residents unable to afford essentials like dental care
  • Health and wellness programs that enrich and vitalize residents’ lives
